This beautiful oval serving dish was made by Johnson Bros. in Staffordshire, England. This pattern, Old English White, was launched in 1991 & has been discontinued since 1999. This pattern is solid white with a beautiful scalloped rope edge. It has no cracks, utensil marks, or crazing. There’s a very small spot of discoloration on the upper rim on right side of a corner that appears to have been missed by some of the paint & glazed over. It’s barely noticeable. There is a slight possibility it could be a scuff but I don’t think so as you can hardly feel it. On the outer bowl there are a couple of tiny spots that are raised & glazed over in manufacturing. I have tried to photograph them but it is difficult because of the glare & size of them. SEE LAST PHOTOS! I feel this piece is still in very good vintage condition and will make a lovely addition to your collection. This piece measure 9 x 7.25 x 2.5 in. It is RARE to find.
